BLANDFORD, MA : 1 dead in Mass Pike crash involving tandem tractor-trailer in the eastbound lanes of I-90 in Blandford on Thursday, 21st February 2019

One person is dead after a crash on the Massachusetts Turnpike involving a tandem tractor-trailer, another tractor trailer, a box truck and a pickup, according to state police.

The crash happened at about 2:40 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of I-90 in Blandford.State police said a tandem tractor-trailer traveling eastbound lost control and crashed into the other vehicles, including another tractor trailer, a box truck and a pickup truck.

Five people were taken to Baystate Medical Center, where one of those people died. The other four people were treated for minor injuries.
