Independence ,OH : Three arrested after stolen Vehicle Flery Crash along Interstate 480 on Wednesday morning ,June 17th 2015

Investigators say it appears a vehicle involved in a fiery crash Wednesday morning was stolen. Its steering column had been peeled

Independence police say they were called out to the scene after receiving a report of a disabled vehicle on I-480 west near I-77.

Moments later, it was rear-ended by another vehicle and burst into flames.

That's when three people in the disabled vehicle tried to run away. They ran off into the woods but police quickly established a perimeter and they were caught near the woods.

Police say they arrested two adults and a juvenile but thewir names have not been released yet.

The crash closed I-480 westbound for approximately 40 minutes. The driver of the vehicle that rear-ended the minivan was taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
