Las Vegas,NV : 3 pedestrians killed in crash on Flamingo, Eastern on December, Tuesday 12th 2017

Three pedestrians were killed and an additional seven were hospitalized, at least two of them in critical condition, following a multi-vehicle crash this afternoon near Eastern Avenue and Flamingo Road.
Investigators are trying to determine if alcohol contributed to the wreck, which has snarled traffic on east Flamingo and surrounding side streets, according to Metro Police.

Officers and medics responded about 3:10 p.m. to find the bodies of three people lying on the roadway, Metro spokesman Officer Larry Hadfield said.

One of the critically injured people is the driver police believe to have caused the crash, Hadfield said. The intersection was shut down and traffic from nearby streets also has been affected.
