A Florence man was killed in a single-motorcycle crash early Thursday. Both alcohol and speeding are considered factors in the crash, according to the Boone County Sheriff's Office.
Jason Kloeker, 35, was thrown from his 2014 Harley Davidson after he crashed through a ditch in the 7800 block of Pleasant Valley Road and then multiple fences, police said.
First responders pronounced Kloeker dead at the crash site. The road was closed after the crash was discovered about 2:32 a.m. The road was closed for almost four hours and reopened about 6:15 a.m.

A passing Boone County Sheriff's deputy discovered a motorcycle crash at 7839 Pleasant Valley Road about 2:30 a.m. Thursday, according to a dispatcher.
No further information is being released, and it's unclear if any fatalities resulted from the crash.
