Hoffman,MN : Hoffman man injured in Grant County crash on December, Sunday 10th 2017

A Hoffman man was injured in a crash late Sunday north of Elbow Lake in Grant County.

A Minnesota State Patrol report said Malcolm Wesley Cabaniss-Smith, 18, was taken to Prairie Ridge Hospital in Elbow Lake after crashing his 2002 Chevrolet Impala on U.S. Highway 59 about 10:30 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 10.


The report described Cabaniss-Smith's injuries as not life-threatening. He was wearing a seat belt.

The report said there was snow and ice on the road.

Icy roads were slowing down the Monday morning commute in the area.
