STEPHENSON, VA : A Stephens City man was killed in a head-on crash on Wednesday, August 23, 2017

A Stephens City man was killed in a head-on crash after police said he drove the wrong way on Interstate 81 at about 3:10 a.m. Sunday.

The two-vehicle crash occurred on northbound I-81, just south of exit 317 and the intersection of U.S. 11, Va. 37 and Martinsburg Pike, Virginia State Police spokesman Sgt. F.L. “Les” Tyler said.
