MOUNT VERNON, VA : One cited following vehicle-plow crash on Interstate 9 on Wednesday, 26th December 2018

Charges are pending after a vehicle crashed into the back of a snowplow Wednesday on Interstate 90 near Mount Vernon.

Brett Rockvam, 55, of Sioux Falls, was driving a 2018 Subaru Crosstrek eastbound on Interstate 90 when he attempted to pass the snowplow, braked and then skidded into the back of it.


The crash occurred at about 11:25 a.m. and was investigated by the South Dakota Highway Patrol. Rockvam was uninjured, the South Dakota Department of Public Safety said.

The 42-year-old driver of the 2010 International Snowplow was also uninjured. He was wearing a seat belt.

No other information is immediately available.
