Gaston,SC : Gastonia man killed in dirt bike wreck identified on August, Saturday 19th 2017
A 29-year-old man was killed while riding a dirt bike in Gastonia Saturday afternoon.
According to the Gastonia Police Department, Floyd Terrell Miller was driving a dirt bike on the shoulder of Bessemer City Road and was heading south around 1 p.m. Police said Miller was driving in a "careless and reckless manner."
Miller failed to stop for a red light and then struck the passenger side of a 2013 Chrysler, officers said. Miller was taken to CaroMont Regional Medical Center where he later died.
Police say Miller was wearing a helmet at the time of the wreck.
