CLARKSVILLE, TN : Driver flown to hospital Clarksville road shut down after crash on Tuesday, 10th September 2024

A driver was flown to a Nashville hospital and a Clarksville road was shut down after a Tuesday afternoon crash, according to police.

Clarksville police are working on a crash where a vehicle crashed into a telephone pole in the 2500 block of Memorial Drive at about 2:22 p.m.

The vehicle was occupied by two people, and the driver was flown to Nashville for treatment. The passenger is being treated by EMS and their status is unavailable at this time, according to police.

“Memorial Extension is completely shut down between Rushton Lane and Abby Lane,” CPD said. “Members of CPD’s FACT team are en route to process the scene and it is unknown how long the roadway will be closed.”
