CARY, NC : 54-year-old man killed in motorcycle crash on Monday, 5th April 2021

One person died in a motorcycle crash off N.C. Highway 55 in Cary.

The crash happened near Connemara Drive, just before 3 p.m. on Monday. Police said when they arrived, a motorcycle was surrounded in flames.

The motorcyclist killed in the accident was identified as Brian Glover, 54, of Morrisville.

WRAL's Rosalia Fodera said part of the greenway near Connemara Drive was taped while police investigated. Cary police said the motorcycle involved in the crash ended up in the woods off of N.C. Highway 55.

Another car was also involved in the crash, according to police.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
