A section of Highway 49 in Harrisburg was closed Thursday evening due to a crash involving multiple vehicles.
The wreck happened on southbound Hwy 49 near Roberta Road. Firefighters said injuries were reported in the crash but did not give further details.
The victims' names and the extent of their injuries have not been released.
Officials said southbound Hwy 49 was "temporarily completely closed" while emergency crews worked the scene. Drivers were urged to use caution in the area.
There is no word on what may have led to the crash or if any charges are being filed.
