Portland ,OR :Police seek woman for hit-and-run in Taco Bell parking lot on Wednesday ,July 22nd 2015

Police are looking for a woman suspected of running a man over after a fight at a Southeast Portland fast food restaurant.

Investigators said they think Elisha Rae Hanson had an altercation with Kevin McNerney, 48, just before he was struck in a Taco Bell parking lot at SE 126th Avenue and Division Street on Wednesday, July 22.

McNerney is still listed in critical condition.

Portland Police said Hanson was driving a dark-colored 2012 or 2013 Chevrolet Equinox SUV with yellow Oregon disabled veteran license plates.

Officials describe Hanson as a white woman, about 5-foot 9-inches tall, weighing around 150 pounds with brown hair and green eyes.

Police say the incident is being investigated as a potential assault instead of just a hit-and-run because of how badly McNerney was hurt, adding that homicide detectives are leading the investigation.

"He was in the fetal position and people were starting to crowd around him and then I saw the ambulance arrive and the police arrive," said Charity Ragland, who works at a convenience store across the street.
