Windsor, CO : Driver dies after semi overturns on I-25 near Windsor on Tuesday, November 25, 2014
A northbound tractor-trailer roll onto its side in the median of Interstate 25 just south of the Windsor exit early Tuesday afternoon, slowing traffic in both directions.
The injured driver of the semi was transported to Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, according to emergency radio traffic.
The Colorado Department of Transportation said the left lanes of both northbound and southbound I-25 were closed after the crash, which occurred about 12:35 p.m. The Colorado State Patrol reported shortly after 2 p.m. that all lanes had reopened.
The refrigerated semi was hauling eggs, according to the State Patrol.
Two hours later, emergency crews responded to a crash involving two or three cars in the northbound lane of the interstate, just under the U.S. 34 overpass in east Loveland. According to radio traffic, one person reported neck pain as a result of the accident.
