Crystal Lake, IL : One person injured after a rear-end crash on Route 14 and Crystal Lake Avenue on Monday, May 2, 2016

One person was taken to the hospital Monday after a rear-end crash near the intersection of Route 14 and Crystal Lake Avenue, a fire official said.

Crystal Lake Fire Department Lt. Rick Kaiser said one other person was involved but not hurt in the crash about 1 p.m.

Crystal Lake police also responded to the scene, he said.
