Montchanin, DE : 3 injured in head-on crash in New Castle County on Friday, May 30, 2014

Three people were injured in a head-on collision in Montchanin, New Castle County.

It happened around 4:00 p.m. Friday on the 800 block of Montchanin Road.

Authorities say two vehicles crashed head-on at the intersection.

Two people from one of the vehicles were taken to Christiana Hospital for serious injuries.

A woman, who was driving a Mercury, was taken to Wilmington Hospital for minor injuries.

No word what caused the crash.
