Nowata County , OK : 27- Years old Jamie Bowlin killed after truck striking a second vehicle head-on Crash on Saturday ,May 23rd 2015

A Coweta woman died Saturday morning in a crash reportedly involving alcohol in Nowata County, officials said.

About 1:30 a.m., Bruce Bannon, 47, was driving south on U.S. Highway 169 when his truck left the roadway to the right, according to an accident report. Bannon's truck came back onto the road and veered into the northbound lane, striking a second vehicle head-on.

Jamie Bowlin, 27, was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said. She was a passenger in the second vehicle.

John Watchorn, 27, who was driving the second vehicle, and a 2-year-old child were taken to St. John Medical Center in Tulsa. They were treated and released in good condition.

Bannon was taken to St. John Medical Center in stable condition. He was admitted with head, leg and trunk internal injuries, the report said.

The investigating officer reported that Bannon smelled of alcohol.
