Suitland, MD : Two people died and two others injured after a car wreck in Suitland Parkway at Meadowview Drive on Sunday, Aug 16, 2015

Two people died at a local hospital after a car crash in Suitland early Sunday, police said.

The crash happened on Suitland Parkway at Meadowview Drive around 12:45 a.m. Police say the accident involved two cars.

A woman in one of the vehicles died at the hospital early Sunday and police say another person died at the hospital Sunday afternoon.

Police say two other people involved in the accident are in stable condition.

At least two occupants of one of the cars involved in the crash are related, police said.

The investigation is ongoing and police say no charges are pending.
