Madison, OH : Two people injured when a car collided with a motorcycle in Madison Township on Sunday, April 17, 2016

Two people were injured when a car collided with a motorcycle in Madison Township over the weekend.

According to Madison Township police, a 1990 Harley Davidson motorcycle collided with a 1999 Honda Accord on Hubbard Road near Canterbury and Courtyard drives around 8:30 p.m.

The 45-year-old driver and his 56-year-old passenger were thrown from the motorcycle. They were both transported to Lake Health Madison hospital. The driver was then transferred to MetroHealth Medical Center by medical helicopter, where he is listed in stable condition.

Neither the driver nor the passenger were wearing helmets.

The 23-year-old driver of the Honda Accord was not injured.

The road was closed for about three hours while crews investigated the crash.

No charges have been filed.
