HOOVER, AL : 2 arrested in connection to I-459 crash in Hoover on Friday, 9th February 2024

Two people were arrested after one person was killed in a two-vehicle crash on I-459 SB in Hoover Friday morning.

According to Hoover police, Tyrique Carter, 22, of Byram, Miss., was charged with reckless murder, leaving the scene of an accident with injuries and fleeing/attempting to elude. Elisha Lindsey, 22, of Jackson, Miss., was charged with reckless murder and fleeing/attempting to elude. Both suspects are awaiting transfer from the Hoover City Jail to the Jefferson County Jail where they will be held without bond.
