Augusta, GA :A motorcyclist died after an accident near the Russell Hills on Saturday, 9th June 2018

A motorcyclist who died Saturday after an accident near the Russell Hills Subdivision and Pine Log Road has been identified as Koran Sapp of Aiken.

Sapp, 35, was heading east on Pine Log Road when a Chevy Tahoe traveling west attempted to make a left turn on Russell Street, according to Aiken County coroner Tim Carlton. Sapp’s Honda motorcycle struck the Chevy’s rear passenger’s side quarter panel and Sapp was ejected, Carlton said. The incident occurred around 8:48 p.m.
