BOSTON, MA : ID man killed after car plunged off highway in Boston on Sunday, November 27th 2016
State police have identified a 50-year-old Chatham man who died after his car plunged off Interstate 93 in Boston and struck another vehicle on the road below.
Troopers say Daniel Lee was driving northbound on the highway shortly after 12:30 a.m. Sunday when his car went through a guardrail near Exit 14, went airborne, rolled over and struck another vehicle traveling on Morrissey Boulevard.
Lee was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 24-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman from Boston who were in the other vehicle were taken to a hospital. Police say their injuries were not life-threatening.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
