MIDDLEBOURNE, OH : Two injured in Cambridge morning crash on Thursday, June 22, 2017
The Cambridge post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol continued to investigate a two-vehicle accident late Thursday morning that sent two motorists with undisclosed injuries to an area hospital.
The names of the injured motorists were not available as of press time Friday.
The injuries were not believed to be life threatening, according to the highway patrol.
The accident occurred at approximately 10:52 a.m. near the intersection of Batesville and Bridgewater roads in eastern Guernsey County.
A dispatcher at the Cambridge post said the accident remained under investigation and the final report was not available as of press time.
Emergency responders from United Ambulance; the Fairview, Old Washington and Quaker City fire departments; and highway patrol troopers were dispatched to the scene.
A car involved in the accident contained four occupants while the driver of a truck involved in the crash was the lone occupant of that vehicle, according to a dispatch activity blotter at the Guernsey County Sheriff's Office.
The blotter reported an unidentified female had to be extricated from the vehicle. The report did not indicate how the woman was freed from the car.
No damage estimates were available.
Emergency responders remained at the scene until approximately 11:54 a.m.
