Two motorcyclists suffered major injuries in crashes Thursday in Camarillo and the Oxnard Plain, officials said.
The first crash was reported about 2:45 p.m. near Sturgis and East Pleasant Valley roads in Camarillo, the patrol reported. Crews on scene with the Ventura County Fire Department reported that motorcyclist was a man in his 30s.
The most recent crash was reported at 4:45 p.m. near Raytheon and East Hueneme roads on the Oxnard Plain, officials said.
In both incidents the motorcyclists were hit by a vehicle and had to be taken by helicopter to local hospitals, the California Highway Patrol reported.
