SAN ANTONIO, TX : 5 hospitalized in multi-vehicle crash on Tuesday, 25th June 2019

Five people were taken to the hospital following a multi-vehicle crash early Tuesday morning.

The crash occurred around 6 a.m. near Loop 1604 and Schuwirth Road in east Bexar County.According to the Bexar County Sheriff's Office, a red four-door sedan ran a stop sign at Schuwirth Road and hit a VIA bus which was heading south on Loop 1604. The car then bounced off the bus and hit a pickup truck, the BCSO said.

Five people including two children, ages 4 and 6, were taken to the hospital with injuries. The 20-year-old driver of the car and one of the children were taken by helicopter and at least one person is in critical condition, the BCSO said.
