Waterford, MI : 17-year-old Saline High School graduate injured in car crash on Thursday, August 20 2015

Hayden Smith, the 17-year-old Saline High School graduate injured Thursday in a car crash, died Friday.
His father, William Smith, posted the news to Facebook just after 3 p.m. Aug. 21.Unfortunately we do not have good news to share. Hayden has officially passed away," he wrote.
The Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office confirmed Hayden's death.
Hayden was injured in a head-on crash Thursday morning on Wagner Road south of Liberty, just west of Ann Arbor. Survival Flight took him to the hospital in critical condition.
William Smith said his son suffered severe brain trauma in the crash.
Derrick Jackson of the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office said the report for the crash is not yet complete and there was nothing to release on the circumstances surrounding it.
"We are still investigating," he said.
Hayden was a 2015 graduate of Saline High School and planned to study at Eastern Michigan University.
The Smith family honored Hayden's wishes to donate his organs.
"He has always been a giver! So we are honoring his wish and Lord willing, 6-8 other families prayers for a miracle will be answered through Hayden's tragedy," William Smith said.
