CHERRY VALLEY, AR : Cross County woman dies in 2-car accident on Wednesday, 18th March, 2020

A Cross County woman died Wednesday in a car accident on Arkansas 1.

Cathy Sanders, 63, of Wynne, was driving a 2016 Chevrolet Cruze northbound, approaching the intersection of the highway and Sifford Avenue in Cross County, according to the preliminary fatal crash summary released by Arkansas State Police.

Just after 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sanders crossed the center line, striking a 2006 Toyota Avalon driven by Shirley McDaniel, 68, of Marianna.
