Preston, ID : Logan man died and Lewiston woman injured after a two-car collision on the streets of Preston on Saturday, February 13, 2016

A Logan man died Saturday and a Lewiston woman was hospitalized following a two-car collision on the streets of Preston.

The incident happened about 1:30 p.m. when Brock Bitton, 36, was driving a Mitsubishi Galant south when his car crossed over into northbound traffic at the intersection of 2000 South and State Street and struck a Ford Fusion driven by Marie Mitchell, 32, of Lewiston, Cache County.

Bitton was pronounced dead at the scene. Mitchell was transported by ambulance to Logan Regional Hospital. Investigators with the Idaho State Police said both drivers were wearing seat belts.
