Winnetka, IL : Three injured in Orland Park crash on Saturday, September 10, 2016

Three people were transported to a hospital about 12:35 a.m. Saturday after a head-on collision between two vehicles in Orland Park, a spokesman for the Orland Fire Protection District said.

One of the injured, a woman in her early 20s, had been pinned in her vehicle, but fire crews were able to rescue her in about 15 minutes.

The crash occurred on the 10400 block of 159th Street.

Officials said it was a high-speed crash in a construction zone.

All three injured were taken to Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, and their conditions were not known as of Sunday afternoon.
