Wilmington, NC : Motorcyclist and two others were injured in a High-speed chase crash at Interstate 40 on Tuesday, 27th September, 2016

A motorcyclist led troopers on a chase that ended with two troopers crashing into each other.

Highway Patrol says the chase started in Duplin County where they clocked a man on a motorcycle going at 120 miles-per-hour.

They tried to pull him over but the motorcyclist kept going.

The chase continued on Interstate 40 where a Pender County trooper and New Hanover County trooper joined.

The motorcyclist ran out of gas; the Pender and New Hanover County troopers then crashed into each other just before 2 a.m. near mile marker 418.

One of the trooper cars went into a ditch; the other was on the side of the road.

No one was injured in the crash.

There is no word on charges against the motorcyclist.
