BARRON, WI : Woman dies in crash south of Barron on Friday, January 6th 2017

A woman died Friday night in a one-vehicle crash south of Barron at 10½ Avenue and 13th Street.
Kerensa Davenport, 44, of Barron died at the scene, according to Barron County sheriff’s officials.The sheriff’s office received a call at 9:05 p.m. Friday. Upon arrival, deputies found Davenport, who was alone in the vehicle. The initial investigation shows the vehicle was traveling east on 10½ Avenue and failed to stop for a stop sign at 13th Street. The vehicle went off the road and struck a tree.
Davenport was not wearing a seat belt.
The accident remains under investigation.
