Okaloosa County, FL : 2 Milton residents die in motorcycle crash on Sunday, 15th December, 2019

Two Milton residents died Sunday evening when their motorcycle was involved in a crash with a pickup truck in Okaloosa County.

Charles Terence Sillars and Jennifer Lynn Morris, both 40, succumbed to the injuries they suffered in the crash, according to a press release from the Florida Highway Patrol.

Sillars was the driver of the 2007 Honda motorcycle, and Morris was a passenger.

At about 6 p.m., they were traveling east on U.S. 90 approaching Wilkerson Bluff Road when a Chevrolet pickup truck failed to yield to the motorcycle's right of way, according to FHP.

Gregory Raymond Geiger, 21, of Holt, pulled out in front of the motorcycle and the bike’s front wheel collided with the truck’s front bumper, the release states.

Charges are pending further investigation.
