Brooktondale, NY : Woman hospitalized, dog found after Jeep rollover crash in Tompkins County on Monday evening, December 22, 2014

A woman was airlifted to a Pennsylvania hospital after she was injured in a rollover crash in Tompkins County on Monday evening.

The Ithaca Fire Department says a dog that was in the vehicle is missing.

Multiple fire and emergency agencies responded to the crash on Slaterville Road in Brooktondale around 7 p.m.

The Ithaca Fire Department sent a heavy rescue vehicle to the scene when they learned that the woman needed to be cut out of the vehicle.

She was flown to Robert Packer Medical Center in Sayre, Pa. for treatment.

The Ithaca Fire Department has not identified the woman, nor have they indicated how severe her injuries are.

State Police are investigating the crash.
