Nampa, ID : 19-year-old woman injured in a three-vehicle crash on Interstate-84 after an apparent road rage incident Tuesday afternoon on September 23, 2014
A 19-year-old woman is in serious condition at a Boise hospital after being ejected from her car in a rollover accident on Interstate 84 in Nampa this afternoon.
Around 1 p.m., Canyon County Sheriff's deputies, Nampa Police and Idaho State Police responded to a one-vehicle rollover in the westbound lanes of I-84 at mile post 33A.
Officers found the female driver had been ejected from a 1997 Saturn. She was conscious and had a laceration to the head and was complaining of back pain. She was transported by ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise. Her name has not been released.
A male passenger in the Saturn did not require hospitalization.
Witnesses told police this may be a case of road rage. Another vehicle may be involved and left the scene.
Police are looking for a dark green 1998 Chevy Prizm with license plate 2C KR837. Anyone who has seen this car is urged to contact the Canyon County Sheriff's Office.
This is an ongoing investigation, but police are not treating this crash as an accident.
Traffic was reduced to one lane at the crash scene while police investigated and emergency responders attended to the crash victims.
