Lake Park, MN : Frazee woman injured today in crash on Highway 10 near Lake Park on Wednesday, 21st November 2018

A Frazee woman was injured Wednesday morning when her Jeep hit a dump truck on Highway 10 near Lake Park.

Mary Kate Caulfield, 22, of Frazee was taken to Essentia St. Mary's in Detroit Lakes with non life-threatening injuries, according to the State Patrol.She was driving a 2018 Jeep Compass eastbound on Highway 10 west of Lake Park when she rear-ended a 1999 Mack dump truck, which was in the right lane just starting out from County Road 1 and gaining speed. She was wearing a seatbelt and the airbag deployed in the Jeep.

The driver of the dump truck, Adam Lee Triggs, 44, of Callaway was also wearing a seatbelt and was not injured.

The crash was reported at 7:03 a.m. on dry pavement in Lake Park Township. The White Earth Tribal Police Department and Becker County Sheriff's Office assisted at the scene.
