GREENVILLE, SC : Coroner called to deadly Greenville County crash on Tuesday, 23rd May 2023

South Carolina Highway Patrol said troopers are investigating after one person passed away following a crash on Tuesday afternoon.
Troopers said the crash happened along Toledo Street near Poinsett Highway around 12:00 p.m.
According to troopers, a dump truck parked in a private driveway was partially blocking Toledo Street when a moped driver crashed into the back of it. Sadly the moped driver passed away at the scene. The Greenville County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 51-year-old Derrick Lomax of Greenville.
