WILTON, IA : 1 dead, 3 injured in crash near Wilton on Sunday, 22nd September 2024

One person died and three were injured in a crash near Wilton Sunday night, Iowa State Patrol says.

According to a crash report, a 2012 Nissan Juke was northbound around 5:30 p.m. in the 1100 block of Taylor Avenue while a 2003 Ford Taurus was southbound.

The driver of the Nissan crossed the center line, into the southbound lanes, troopers said. The front driver’s side of the Nissan hit the front driver’s side of the Ford.

The Nissan stopped on the east shoulder of the roadway, troopers said. The Ford stopped in the west ditch. Both with severe damage.
