LAS VEGAS, NV : 1 student transported after crash between school, public buses in Las Vegas on Friday, 6th September 2024

One student was taken to a hospital after a school bus and public transit bus got into a crash in Las Vegas Friday morning, according to authorities.

The collision happened as both buses made a turn at the same time to get onto northbound U.S. 95 at MLK Boulevard, said Trooper Shawn Haggstrom with Nevada State Police.

The Clark County School District bus had 54 children on board at the time. One child was taken to a local hospital with undisclosed injuries.
