Fort Wayne, IN : A 76-year-old Fort Wayne man died from injuries he received in a crash on Monday, December, 11th 2017

A 76-year-old Fort Wayne man died from injuries he received in a crash Monday afternoon, the Allen County coroner's office said today following an autopsy.

Scott H. Putt was involved in a crash at the intersection of West Jefferson Boulevard and Engle Road around 1:30 p.m., the coroner's office said in a statement.

Putt was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead, the statement said. It said Putt died accidentally from blunt force injuries.

Putt's death is the 39th traffic fatality in Fort Wayne and Allen County during 2017.
