JACKSONVILLE, FL : Woman killed in crash on Buckman Bridge in Jacksonville on Thursday, 7th February 2019

A woman has died following a crash on the Buckman Bridge Thursday morning, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers identified the woman as Rashelle Shiloah Kirsch, 27, of Middleburg. The woman was driving a Chevy Tahoe southbound on I-295 in the outside lane of the bridge and for unknown reasons lost control -- traveling across all lanes and striking a barrier wall, FHP said.

The woman was taken to Orange Park Medical Center where she later died.

Drivers experienced heavy delays in the area as crews investigated.
