Cleveland , OH : 23- Years old Jemerez Danzy killed in Car Crash after Car hits tree at the intersection of Detroit Avenue on Sunday ,April 5th 2015

One person is dead following a car crash in Cleveland.

Police spent Easter Sunday at the intersection of Detroit Avenue and West 91st Street where the accident took place.

The 23-year-old driver, identified Monday as Jemerez Danzy, was traveling at excessive speed west bound on Detroit road when the car hit a tree.

Glass and debris could be found as far away as 50 yards from the point of impact. The intersection was shut down Sunday morning for an investigation that is ongoing.

The road has since re-opened.
