Columbus, GA : Pedestrian dies after motorcycle crash on Saturday October 8 2016

A pedestrian who was struck by a motorcycle on Victory Drive on Saturday died of blunt-force trauma, Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan said.

Joseph Allen Roseboro, 61 of Columbus, was pronounced dead on Sunday at 4:10 a.m.

Bryan said the victim was crossing the road when he was hit by a motorcyclist on Victory Drive at Lumpkin Boulevard. Roseboro was not crossing at a crosswalk, he said.

Roseboro had multiple fractures and lacerations. He arrived alert at Midtown Medical Center around 8 p.m. Saturday, Bryan said.

There are no charges currently pending against the motorcyclist. Bryan said Roseboro died of blunt-force trauma and the death has been ruled as accidental.
