Huntley, IL : 2 die in Huntley head-on crash near mile marker 253 on Highway 312 on Wednesday, 6th June 2019

The drivers of a blue Dodge Ram pickup and a white pickup both died in a crash near Huntley on Wednesday, and Highway 312 was closed in both directions while crews worked on scene.

The crash happened around 6:20 p.m. near mile marker 253 on Highway 312. The two vehicles appeared to have collided head-on, Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Barry Mitchell said. It's not clear how old the two victims are, but Mitchell said they are both locals to the area.

There were no passengers in either vehicles, and no other injuries reported. The white pickup came to a rest on its side on the shoulder of the highway.
