Hamilton, MT : 9-year-old boy dies after crashing utility vehicle near Boulder on Sunday, 22nd April 2018

A 9-year-old boy died after crashing a utility vehicle on a rural road north of Boulder Sunday afternoon.

The crash was reported about 12:40 p.m. on Sloans Lane.

According to the Montana Highway Patrol, the boy from Boulder drove the all-terrain vehicle off the right side of the road and then overcorrected. The vehicle tipped onto its side and the boy was ejected.

MHP reported the boy was not wearing a seat belt or a helmet, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
