Red Bluff, CA : One person injured after three vehicles collided on S. Main Street in Red Bluff in Saturday morning, Aug 29, 2015

Three vehicles collided early Saturday morning on S. Main Street in Red Bluff, with multiple injuries reported.

The driver of a 2002 Dodge Ram 2500 pickup drifted across the double yellow line and collided with a 1991 Honda Prelude, driven by Denise Eddy, 54, of Red Bluff along with her two small grandchildren. Both vehicles were disabled after the sideswipe, but the Dodge pickup, driven by Justin Vance of Corning, continued into oncoming traffic and struck a 2007 Buick head on driven by Sandra Padilla, 67, of Red Bluff causing her air bags to deploy.

Eddy received minor lacerations to her arms and complained of hip pain, while Padilla was transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital due to chest pain. The children in Eddy’s car were uninjured. Alcohol does not seem to be a factor in the collision. Vance was also uninjured.
