Springfield, MA : Chicopee tractor trailer crash injures 4, 1 seriously on April, sunday 23th 2017

Memorial Drive was reopened at about 11 p.m. Sunday night after investigators completed their survey of the crash scene after a tractor trailer rig and three passenger cars collided at about 8:25 p.m.
Chicopee Police spokesman Michael Wilk said the crash sent three people to area hospitals with injuries. Wilk said the operator of the tractor trailer rig suffered serious injuries in the crash, while three others were less seriously hurt.
The crash forced the closure of the northbound lanes of Memorial Drive from Britton Street to New Ludlow Road. as accident reconstruction personnel conducted their investigation.
