Winger , MN : One person was injured after rear-end Collision while Driving car on Monday , December 22nd 2014

One person received non-life-threatening injuries when the car he was driving was involved in a rear-end collision with a combine along U.S. 59 near Winger, Minn., Dec. 22.

Jonathan McCollum, 45, Clear Lake, Minn., was injured when the vehicle his was operating struck the back of a combine operated by Bryan Dahl, 36, Bejou, Minn., according to a report from the Minnesota State Patrol.

The accident occurred at about 6:15 p.m. on U.S. Highway 59 at its intersection with Polk County Road 1. Both vehicles were southbound on Highway 59 at the time of the crash.

McCollum was transported to Essentia Health-Fosston.

Polk County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
