PHILLIPS COUNTY, AR : AR woman killed after car flips into ditch on Sunday, November 20th 2016

An Arkansas woman was killed after her car overturned Monday afternoon.

Linda R. Hopper, 41, of West Helena died in the crash on Highway 1 north of Highway 49 in Phillips County, according to Arkansas State Police.

The crash report states Hopper was driving south on Hwy. 1 around 3:30 p.m. when the car crossed the center line and left the road.

The car entered a roadside ditch on the east side, hit a culvert and overturned. It came to rest on its top in the ditch.

ASP states Hopper was pronounced dead at the scene about an hour later.

The weather was clear and road conditions were clear at the time of the crash, according to the ASP report.
