A 30-year-old man was injured Wednesday when he was involved in a three-vehicle collision at Navarro and Red River streets, said Sgt. Jason Sager, of the Victoria Police Department.
Charles Garcia was driving west on East Red River Street in a white 2003 Ford F-250 and failed to control his speed when he approached a stop light where driver Anthony Pena, 20, of Victoria, had stopped in a 2011 Black Audi, Sager said Thursday.
Garcia swerved and clipped the corner of Pena's car and came into the intersection where he T-boned a 2014 Dodge Charger driven by Jose Rodriguez, 27, of Houston, who was making a left turn, Sager said.
Sager said Rodriguez was with two passengers: his daughters, Briana Rodriguez, 8, and Elijah Rodriguez, 1.
Briana complained of pain on the left side of her body and was treated at the scene, Sager said, and Garcia was taken to DeTar Hospital Navarro. His condition was not available Thursday, but Sager his injuries were not life-threatening.
No cititations were issued in the wreck, he said.
