Saint Paul,MN : Motorcyclist killed in I-35 crash in Chisago County on Friday, 11th May 2018

A motorcyclist was killed in a Friday afternoon crash that temporarily shut down southbound Interstate 35 in Chisago County, authorities reported.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the crash happened shortly before 3 p.m. near Wyoming.

As traffic was slowing in the left lane for construction ahead, the motorcyclist’s 2006 Harley-Davidson sideswiped a 2009 Ford Fusion and crashed.

The driver, 56-year-old Bruce John Pariseau of North Branch, died of his injuries at North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale.

The driver and two passengers in the Ford were not injured.

The crash remains under investigation.
