Ice causes crash on 290 in Waller County

A drop in the temperatures following rainy weather contributed to an early-morning crash on Thursday, deputies said.

The Waller County Sheriff’s Office confirms that ice was reported on Highway 290 at Kickapoo Road.

The ice caused at least one crash.

As of 7:45 a.m. the roadway was open and the ice was no longer an issue.
